Penny Black Challenge #90, Allsorts Challenge #41, Daring Cardmakers

Last Saturday, I took a workshop to learn more about Copic markers. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I was anxious to start using them. This card was inspired by the Penny Black collection, "Critter Party" . The three little mice gathered around the cupcake might help someone celebrate their birthday after they "make a wish". The aquamarine and hot pink cardstock and design paper from Heidi Grace Designs are uplifting and cheerful. Bronze brads and aquamarine organza ribbon and bows finish it off. This responds to two card challenges;

1. Penny Black Stamps, Sketch Challenge #90;
2. Allsort Challenge #41- my favourite thing (cupcakes!), and;
3. Daring Cardmakers - Aquamarine

I hope you enjoy the view!

  1. Hi Barb

    Your card is lovely and uses one of my favourite images off the "critter party" set.

    I used mine so such that it never seemed to make its way back onto the backing sheet .. .. .. and then I mislaid it!!!!!! Serves me right for not putting things away properly!

    I missed it so much that I ended up buying the big version (no way I will lose that one!).

    What's the betting the small one makes an appearance now? It is bound to be tucked between two bits of card somewhere!

    Sorry .. .. back to your creation.

    You have coloured your image beautifully and the backing paper is gorgeous.

    Thank you for playing along with Allsorts this week.

    Love Jules xx
